About the job

The job involves you, as a population registration officer, registering, investigating, and making decisions on various population registration cases. The work also includes administrative tasks, which may involve mail handling and record-keeping. The content, breadth, and complexity of the work are determined by the needs of the organization. You will meet people from different backgrounds, mainly via phone and written correspondence. The work involves many contacts, for example, with customers and other authorities.

As a new employee with us, you will receive an introduction, and your team will support you in your work. You will then independently manage your cases and collaborate with others. The work involves handling different types of cases, and you will learn and gain new knowledge both broadly and deeply. We have flexible working hours, and it is essential for us that you have a balance between work and leisure.

You belong to the Department of Population and Property and work in Unit 2. Your placement is in Eskilstuna. In our two population registration sections, we are about 35 people.

About you

You should also have:

• a current (at least 90 approved credits) or completed university education of at least 180 credits in law, economics, or social sciences.

It is desirable that you have relevant work experience in customer service where you have communicated information and handled challenging conversations, e.g., from citizen services, banking, or collections. It is also desirable that you have relevant work experience from public operations.

The employment is temporary from June until December 31, 2025.
